TV: GEICO PBA All-Star Shootout

The first outdoor PBA event since 2001 is currently airing on the ESPN newtworks. The doubles event features alternate shots and throws a few unique scoring wrinkles. If there is a strike in the fill ball in the 10th frame, they will continue to throw until they do not strike, adding ten pins for every strike. In addition there will be a bonus of five pins for every split picked up making for a very entertaining show.

The teams are as follows:

Midwest Mafia - Rash/Weber
Southside Playa - Couch/Oatman
Fire & Ice - Kent/Wiseman
Kokua Brothers - Reyes/Smith
Will Duke'Em - Duke/Williams
Smooth & Slick - Allen/Bohn
Fin to Win - Barnes/Koivuniemi
Big & Rich - Jones/Malott

Make sure you show your PBA support by watching the show and letting ESPN know you want more bowling on their network!

Oops, the Rash/Webber team lost their first match, despite the announcers saying they were 1-0.
